Hi there, I’m not really familiar with how court really works out. I got charged with simple possession, i pled Guilty and told me I had to take a 4 hour alcohol and drug class which was $100, 24 hours of community service and pay $360 in court fees. I was wondering if I could just pay off the court costs be done with it, i done the class already

A: You may have already messed up. The Judge is hopefully trying to take care of you, offering you Diversion. You do not want a Drug Conviction for the rest of your life which will destroy you. Contact a competent attorney immediately to examine the exact disposition of your Case, and possibly change it to a Diversion Sentence if needed. And complete everything ordered by the Judge to the letter.
A: You still have to pay the court costs.
