A: Hire an Attorney in Florida to see if they can get the ticket amended to a non-moving violation. The sooner you do this the better.

A: Speeding 15 over the posted speed limit is a serious moving violation for the Illinois CDL holder. Two violations within a 36 month period will trigger a CDL disqualification for a minimum of 60 days. Protect your CDL and potential future loss of income by calling a Florida traffic attorney in the area along I-75 where you received the ticket.

A: My colleagues are correct, a reduction to a non-moving violation would prevent the consequences to your Illinois record. Because your CDL is your livelihood, be sure to find competent representation in FL. Best of luck.
