Unfortunately I made a bad career move after I Relocated, I am still struggling through it. from November 2017 to Late December 2017 I was unemployed there was roughly 5 Child supports payments I could not make. These payments were added to my Rears, Support Payments began again on 1/10/2018 I was ordered to pay half of the children's medical bills, This has always been a challenge I get sent unpaid bills and request for large sums 2,000 for braces and wanted it in a week. A: You need to speak with an attorney in Florida if the case is in Florida. If they filed for contempt in Georgia, speak to an attorney here about defending it. If they never left Florida, you are likely going to have to file there to modify it.

A: If the original order was issued in Florida and the other party still resides in Florida, Florida retains jurisdiction and that is where you will need to file the modification action.
