Q: can my landlord evict me if I haven’t signed a new lease for the year ? Can I write a 30 day notice to vacate ?
I have been living here for over a year now , my landlord hasn’t given me a new lease to sign for this year . I have mildew smell and children . I’m wanting to move ASAP , I haven’t paid rent because I got behind. Is there a way I can write a 30 day notice of me leaving so I won’t get an eviction ?? Can he properly file an eviction without me signing a new lease ? What are my options? My new apartment won’t be ready until the 26th so I’m trying to find a way where I can stay where I am until my new place is ready
