Q: Hello, I looked up my two unpaid traffic tickets and the status says closed...do I still have to pay the fines?

A: File closed. Civil judgment sent to a collection agency. Most likely. Your license is or probably will be suspended

A: Yes you still have to pay the fines. At the very least, when you go to renew your driver's license you will not be able to do so until you have paid the fines and it is likely the fines would have increase to a substantial amount by that time. Also, your license could be suspended depending on the type of tickets you are talking about.
