Q: I live in illonois and got a speeding ticket and improper lane usage and 1 month prior I got a speeding ticket in IL.

how us this goin to affect my license

A: If you are 21 or older, 3 convictions for moving violations within 12 months will result in a license suspension. If you are under 21, 2 convictions within 24 months will result in a license suspension. Speeding and improper lane usage are both moving violations. Court supervision will not count toward a license suspension. You want may want to contact an attorney to appear in court on the most recent tickets in an effort to avoid a conviction.
