Q: A man is sueing me for the aftermath of us fighting and has caused harrassment, emotional distress, etc.
The man and I got in a fight over him getting mad that I was late picking him up in his car. The man had pushed me down and tried to tackle me, in result I tried to get away and took his protein shake stuff opened it and threw it at him. It got all over his apartment. This resulted in us ending up in the bathroom. He kept coming at me telling me to leave but wasn't really allowing me to get passed him so i was scared and threatened to pour bleach that was near me on his clothing, he got mad and was still coming at me and I was afraid hell hit me so I poured it everywhere thinking it'll make him back off. He still managed to get to me which resulted in me falling and in retaliation I poured it on more stuff. He is sueing me for everything but I was only scared and told him I won't do it if he stopped coming at me. He's also adding that I put a stain on his wood which had nothing to do with me or the situation I think he's just adding it in there
A: You most definitely need an attorney to defend you. You risk losing a lot if you lose at trial and/or go without an attorney to represent your interest.
