More than likely your Husband spent some time in jail prior to being convicted. It is probably a 6 year Sentence as a Range I Offender which means he must serve 30% of the Sentence before he is eligible for Parole.
Tennessee Department of Corrections will probably have a Parole Hearing around 2 years, and may or may not grant him release from custody being subject to monitoring by a Parole Officer. If granted Parole he must not violate many conditions or go back to prison. Read his Judgment of Conviction.
