Wise, VA asked in Landlord - Tenant for Tennessee

Q: Can a landlord force you to empty your apartment to lay carpet and you are physically unable to do so?

They also say to turn off the AC because of the dust. I am a heart patient with COPD and other ailments and I can not take the heat and dust, and have nowhere else to go. The carpet in my apartment doesn't need to be replaced either.

A: What does your lease say? Typically, with proper notice, landlords are allowed entry at a reasonable time to make repairs.
