Kingston Springs, TN asked in Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: I have 4 citations from GA on my TN record that are 17yo. Phone# is invalid / no county is given. I can't locate them!

I am trying to get my license reinstated in the state of TN. My TN driving record shows 4 citations from 2002-2003 in the state of GA. In order to reinstate my license I must show that I've satisfied these citations in writing. The problem is the phone number given for the citations is not in service and no county is given, only the state of GA. I called the state of Georgia and they have no record of the citations. I have called all counties I can think of that I would've been in at the time and they have no records. I went to the TN DMV and explained the situation and they had no advice because the citations are from GA. I have the money to pay the citations but I simply cannot locate them. What on earth do I do at this point?

A: Probably need to hire a competent Georgia Attorney that is familiar with Georgia Driving Licenses and Georgia Criminal Law. Someone like that can hunt down the proper County Clerk Offices. It will probably be expensive.
