Q: My son father paid child support when ever he feels like it how come that is?
My son father paid child support 1 month (April 2018) I didn't receive anything for the whole year of 2017. I just received for may of this year then july of this year 2019. I called the child support office and told them what was going on but nothing happened. I seriously need some help on what to do. From April 2017 till now i received $947.91. my total monthly support suppose to be 420.00.
A: I'm not sure why this is happening but you might try making an appointment to sit down with your caseworker. Sometimes the best way to get action is to go in person. I'm assuming that the father cannot be wage attached because he is self-employed or changes employment frequently.
