Q: First offense , first arrest . 39-17-415 possession of schedule VI . What will happen? I've never been in Trouble I'm 19

Possession is hemp I think they said it was 2.1oz .

A: First of all, the Tennessee District Attorneys are very against marijuana usage, because it is a crime. If you are young, and it is your first time offence, then there may be the possibility that a good attorney could get you off of pre-trial diversion. If you could do that, then you would have a suspended sentence for a year, then you could have your record expunged. That is the best case scenario. Never go into criminal court without an attorney.
