Q: Do Foreign Child Support orders have to be domesticated from original st to current st before modification can occur?
Originating state is FL. Mother has custody of all children now living in GA.Father pays support via Income Deduction from employer in AL. He is in arrears. One child moved to AL with her father. Father wants CS and Custody modification and has filed in GA. Do original FL CS and Custody orders need to be domesticated to GA before a judgment can take place?
