A: A Missouri attorney would be in the best position to advise you based on applicable state laws, but your question remains open for a week. As a general rule, without regard to jurisdiction, you do disclose what you were reimbursed by your health insurance - a claimant does not collect twice from the defendant on these costs. Depending on your policy and who your carrier is, it's possible they could come after you for reimbursement of these payments. Unlike no-fault coverage, some health care insurance carriers want their payments reimbursed if the services are related to an accident caused by a third party. If that's the case, their subrogation department might contact you. For now, maintain records of what they pay. Good luck
