Fremont, CA asked in Divorce, Family Law, Child Custody and Child Support for Georgia

Q: What are my options? Husband had multiple affairs, The last one caused him to abandon our family. Im 8mnths pregnant.

He left 2 months after finding out we were pregnant with our second child together. I have a son from a previous relationship (he did not adopt) and our daughter is 19 months old. I lost my home since he left me with bills and has contributed $425 from the time he left which was May of this year. I have no help with copays for appts. He is currently living with one of the women he had an affair with but does not know I know. He also now has two jobs. One that he obtained while with me and he works with her at a sports bar doing security. We have not seen him and he will contact me to to talk to our daughter via Facetime but refuses to help me in anyway. I would like to seek a divorce as well as supervised visitation ONLY concerning our two children. What are my options?

A: You need to consult an attorney about filing for divorce and obtaining child support. You have said anything that would warrant a judge ordering supervised visitation, though.
