Q: I have a warrant in kentucky. If I go to get a marriage license in tennessee. Will I be arrested while getting it?
Its a probation violation in Kentucky.
A: It is very doubtful that TN LEOs will arrest you for going to the County Clerk's Office. But when you get pulled over, it will be bad. And you will not want any wedding announcements. Unless there is a substantial amount of property/money involved, you are better off hiring a good KY lawyer to turn you in now on the next Docket Call. Getting married now, then going to jail for a year or so, will not work out.
