Mableton, GA asked in Family Law, Child Custody and Child Support for Georgia

Q: I wasnt notified of a final custody hearing & the judge ruled in the NCP's favor. Can I file a motion to stop visitation

A day before court in October 2018, the judge cancelled & I couldn't get another date for over a year! Now A week after I missed court because I never got a notice (due to an address error), the NCP called demanding the kids the same day bragging about a default judgment. I didn't believe him l, but sure enough I called and it was true. My support was decreased drastically, visitation pick up location was changed to 5 mins from his home, but 20 miles from mine and at my kids bedtime! He intimidates me via emails, & has been very abusive verbally to my daughter on visits because she texts me, he refused to give my other daughter her meds for a chronic condition and now his wife is trying to intimidate me at pickup and threaten that she's going to get my kids. I cannot wait 30 more days w/o reporting what he's doing to my kids. They are afraid of them, tired &misses school on mondays. Can I file a motion to pause all visitations until court or should I report to social services
