Q: No license, no insurance, they wrote me a ticket but didn’t arrest me that night just told me go to get everything fixed
It was a 2 car accident but it was on a tight road (backroad) the other drive told them we was both on our own side it wasn’t my fault or his either the road was just a narrow hill and neither of us could see over the hill. They told me go to court early and it may be dismissed but the sessions court clerk says I can’t do that? But That’s what the officer told me to do? I understand there will be fines but as far as serving jail time is it pretty likely I have never been in any trouble ever before.
A: Without knowing the exact charges it's hard to give you an answer. Best option would be to consult an attorney. If it's your first offense, even if the charges carry jail time, it's not likely you'll be sentenced to jail on a finding of guilt or a plea. But again, without knowing anything about the event in question, can't say. Contact local counsel.
