Decatur, GA asked in Domestic Violence for Georgia

Q: Can you be a primary aggressor and a victim in the same domestic violence case ?

I was under a tpo from a prior domestic violence with the same person . while at work the mother of my child came up to my job and left our infant daughter after making a scene . she leaves and eventually proceeds to come back acting even more irrational hitting me and stuff .. I get my child put her in her car tossed her the diaper bag containing ONLY onsies a few diapers and wipes .. She continues tp hit me so i go inside my job and call police .. I explain to them we arent supposed to have no contact with each other and tell them what happend .. We both were arrested i for simple battery FV for throwing her the diaper bag .. She for battery Fv for hitting me .. How is this possible .?? How come i was arrested i was at work and she admitted to hitting me .. And she violated the TPO that she took out ! Shouldn't she have been charged with violating the order ?? How was it simple battery by tossing her the bag ? P.s. the officer wrote i tossed it hit her stomach n the content inside
