Bronx, NY asked in Family Law and Civil Rights for New York

Q: ACS/ CPS violation?

good evening, to sum up my situation my boyfriend had called ACS on his sister due to child neglection. this has been going on before and even when i started dating him and witness the actions but i never got involved because he was already going to call because he was fed up, when he called ACS he was nervous and was informed that he had nothing to worry about because they will NOT release the information on who called in and made the report. the case worker came in today and pulled his mother aside to asked some questions which led her to giving away the information of him being the one who called. if you’re wondering what the question was she had asked his mother if they got along which the mother responded with “no” and led to her telling. does this violate any rights and how can we deal with this? what kind of lawyer should we get if this IS a violation? just a little more information i feel the case worker thought this was a malicious act but in his defense it was not.
