Q: Will my license be suspended under 18 if I plead guilty to one traffic ticket and ask for supervision on another?
I am two months away from turning 18 I got my first moving violation about 3 months ago when a woman stomped on her brakes and I couldn’t stop in time. I got a ticket for failure to reduce speed. Just the other night I got a speeding ticket 55 in a 40. Can I plead guilty to the failure to reduce speed and ask for supervision on the speeding ticket without my license getting suspended? I missed the court date for the failure to reduce and the court sent me a letter of continuance does this hurt my chances of it getting dropped?
A: if you show up in court on the failure to reduce she probably will not show and it will be dismissed. Alternatively, if both cases are in the same county, a good traffic lawyer could probably get a package deal.

A: The ticket you received for the accident should be set for trial in hopes that the other party does not show up in court. You may qualify for a deferred prosecution/dismissal or court supervision on one or both as well. An attorney can certainly assist.

A: You are allowed two court supervisions every 12 months, which will not suspend your license. Just make sure that you show up to all of your court dates and request court supervision on both tickets.
