Q: My 17 yr old nephew hasn’t lived with his mom in months his dad pays child support but my nephews mom doesn’t give him

Any money She buys it on alcohol and stuff could she legally get in trouble holding his money from him?

A: The father needs to file a modification in order to stop the child support payments. Child support is never given directly to the child.
