Q: Can I hire a lawyer with an outstanding warrant?or do I have to turn myself in first?

A: You can and should hire an attorney at any given point. Some courts will require you to turn yourself in, and in others, the attorney may be able to get you out of the warrant.

A: Hire the lawyer, then have him arrange for you to show up at Court even though you are not on the Docket. This usually will reduce the Bond amount, makes the Judge happy, and sets you up for a possible quick and advantageous disposition of your Case.
