Q: Son got improper passing on right while on I-88. Code 11-704(a). But that road has 2 or more lanes, so how is it illegal
Ticketed by unmarked police car who claimed he was traveling 76 (in 70) while being passed on right. Warning for speeding 1-10 over. Son will request bench trial, but should he NOT request court supervision because of the seemingly bogus "passing on right"?
A: It seems to me that there may be more to this story, but on its face, it seems that this ticket will not stand up in court. If he really wants to fight this ticket, he should hire an attorney to assist him. The sooner an attorney is hire, the better.
