A: There are no points assigned in Illinois for seat belt tickets. It is not a moving violation. I doubt MO reports it.

A: It is not a moving violation in Illinois. I tell anyone that calls me on this type of ticket to just pay it and move on. No need to appear in court and pay an increased fine.
