Warren, MI asked in Car Accidents for New Jersey

Q: Is it worth getting a lawyer for an accident I was in where the other insurance has accepted responsibility

The other driver was under the influence, backed into me, I was diagnosed with concussion and have had some back pain since. They have already offered 1100.

A: If you have seriously been diagnosed with a concussion from a medical doctor and you have back pain, I recommend getting to a doctor and a lawyer and not accept $1,100.00 .

A: Hi,

Yes, you should consult with an experienced car accident attorney to discuss liability and the extent of your injuries. Based upon your description, it appears that you have a good liability case. We are available to discuss your matter with you at your convenience.

A: Members of the NJ Assn for Justice give free consults so that you can get answers. You should always get a consult in a case like this. Especially if the other driver was intoxicated where you may get enhanced damages. The medical coverage that comes with a car wreck is extensive and that alone needs to be protected. Contact an NJAJ member in the county where the wreck occurred and stop talking to the other insurance in the meantime.
