Kokomo, IN asked in Family Law for Indiana

Q: My 17yr old was visiting his mother, we have 50/50 with me having custodial custody. Her house was raided and she was

Arrested for drugs. My son was at a friends house when this happened. CPS has taken my child, put in foster care pending investigation. This was done without my knowledge, consent, etc. In the report they filed with the court doesnt even mention that I'm in my child's life much less that I have court approved agreement with the mother signed just last year. There are MANY inconsistencies and just out right false claims about me in this report from me being in jail (NOT true), being evicted multiple times (NEVER in my life) to me having an child abuse case in my past (ABSOLUTELY FALSE/FAKE never happened). The CPS worker in charge even called my son a liar during our supervised visit today. There are NO accusations against me anywhere in the paperwork but I have to be supervised? I'm breaking down mentally over this. I've had very lil sleep and I dont know what to do nor do I have funds to hire someone to represent me or my child. Please help

A: I am sorry for your situation. This sounds like a complex matter and there are too many details missing in your question to be able to give you definitive answers. I would strongly urge you to sit down with an experienced family law attorney as soon as possible to discuss your case, and possible options, in more detail.
