Chicago, IL asked in Landlord - Tenant for Missouri

Q: Hi, I have been dealing with slum lords who have neglected damages done from water leaks and mold/mildew. I need help

My kitchen sink and dishwasher has been pouring into my walls and causing extensive water damage. Flooded carpets, mold growing everywhere..etc. I've asked for them to repair many things and they come "look" at the problem and just leave saying they will be back to fix it.. I've had problems for over 4 years and now there's been a huge hole above my tub from water damage coming from the upstairs apartment for about 5 months. They are replacing my neighbors tub and have made a huge mess all over my bathroom. There's glass tile shards all over everything. They won't clean or compensate me for any damages done. I've sent the landlord emails and got nothing in return. They showed up saying they will fix everything within the week and that was in August of 2019.. I have many pictures to show the things they have and haven't done. I am in Gladstone Missouri 64118
