West Palm Beach, FL asked in Business Formation and Business Law for Florida

Q: What is the most cost effective way to reinstate my corporation that was voluntary dissolution last year?

A: Either pay the fees and late fees or start a new one entirely. A business attorney can help you based on specifics and details related to your business and why you need or want to reinstate the old one or if you would be better served going in a different and new direction starting anew. The Florida Department of State will let you know precisely what needs to be done for reinstatement and costs.

A: Did you voluntary dissolve or were you involuntarily dissolved? If you voluntary dissolved you may be able to revoke your dissolution for $35. It will cost $600 to reinstate. Otherwise, you are better off forming a new corporation ands paying $87.50. After 60 days from dissolution you should be able to file under the same name.
