Des Plaines, IL asked in Traffic Tickets for Illinois

Q: I have a court date on March 26, 2020 at Addison traffic court. I'm not sure if the court is open on that day.

I saw a news that cook county courts have been closed to avoid spread of covid19 virus. Does anyone know of addison traffic court of dupage County is open or closed on March 26,2020. If the court is closed do I get a new court date? How will things proceed - do I get a notification in mail of new court date?

Note: my court date is for a traffic violation for holding a cell phone.

Please help this situation is unprecedented due to covid19
