A: You can contact the judge's staff attorney to see if any additional information is needed. You may need to file a Motion for Judgment on the Pleadings if that has not already been filed to obtain your divorce decree.

A: It is hard to answer without knowing if you completed everything required in order for the decree to be entered. If everything was done correctly and it has been 33 days since everything was filed and signed, the decree may be entered at any time. Usually, the judge's assistant is the point of communication.

A: The timeframe varies. You can start by contacting the judge’s assistant to see if there is anything else that is needed from you at this time and if they can provide you with any updates. -Homer P. Jordan IV, Esq. 404-620-1558
