A: The worst case is a Misdemeanor criminal conviction,a loss of license ,a 6 Month revocation and a jail term. That is if you haven't had a prior DWI Under those facts ,it would be a felony which is hard to overcome and could mean Jail of 1-4 years and a thousand dollar fine. However with a skilled lawyer ,you would probably be able to get Impaired driving. It all depends on the common law facts your driving record and if there were aggravating circumstances leading to your arrest. My best advice is to get a good Jefferson County Attorney with experience in DWI cases.

A: Do not concern yourself with the Improper Plates charge which is a 0 Point violation and not a crime. The DWI is a misdemeanor (criminal) offense which carries a whole hot of penalties through the court and DMV if you are convicted. Contact an experienced criminal defense attorney for proper representation immediately.
