Lemont, IL asked in Traffic Tickets for Illinois

Q: Will I get something in the mail if I have a court date for trespassing but didn’t sign anything?

My friend was holding a smoke bomb in a parking garage and I took a picture of him, we both have court dates. I’m only 18 and I wanted to know if there’s any way I could make it so it’s not on my record. Also will anything come in the mail regarding the court date

A: It is possible. The fact you did not sign anything neither makes it more nor less likely that you will be charged.

A: You need to hire a criminal defense attorney to assist you with this matter in order to increase your odds of this not going on your record. The sooner you hire an attorney, the better. That attorney will need time to work on your case, so hire an attorney now.
