A: A New Mexico attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. It's not fully clear what happened, but based on your description, it's possible both of you could be liable. If your lane was such that you were not supposed to go around her, and if she was in a lane that only permitted a left turn or U-turn and she decided to go straight (if that is what happened), both of you could share blame. But the scenario is not fully clear from the description. You could take the police report and discuss with an attorney if you have injuries/damages you are contemplating pursuing, or with your insurance carrier if she filed a claim against you. Good luck
