Atlanta, GA asked in Traffic Tickets for Georgia

Q: I need to get this ticket handled. I can’t drive because this ticket is open and COVID has the courts closed.

I have an improper left turn ticket I’d like to handle but courts are closed. And I have an FTA. How do I handle this? Can I get a specialized license until the courts do reopen?

A: Most traffic ticket courts in GA are opened at least on a limited basis right now during COVID-19. However, a few are still closed.

I would advise you to immediately contact the specific court or speak with an experienced GA traffic ticket attorney to better understand your current situation and possible options to resolve the case quickly.

I have been practicing law in GA for over 20 years and regularly handle traffic ticket cases through out GA.
