Denver, CO asked in Traffic Tickets for Tennessee

Q: How to get my warrant dropped

My license was revoked and I was driving without auto insurance I have now paid everyone of my fines and because I have moved away from the state my license was revoked I was told I could fax it in. I have now missed a court date and they are telling me I will have to turn myself in I don’t get why I would have to go to jail if I paid my fines and was told I could fax my license in

A: Not sure of the Charges involved, but you definitely should have hired an attorney to handle this. For some reason you were supposed to go to Court. Now you need a competent attorney to turn you in when your Case is not on the Docket. It is possible that you will be able to take care of everything with the Court that same day, but you might have to bond out then go to Court. The TNDL has to be issued by the DOS, not the Court. You will need paid in full receipts, insurance and reinstatement fees to get it back. Hire a competent attorney now.
