Detroit, MI asked in Personal Injury for Michigan

Q: Hello. Can I still hire attorney to represent me in Ohio lawsuit. Against manufacturers? Other than Purdue pharma.

I've filed in the Purdue pharma case. Was told by plantiff committee to contact an attorney to represent me in Ohio for that case against the manufacturers. I've called several attorneys they can't me as individual or they only represent states .I read there was deadline in Ohio but wasnt sure was it the general deadline like the deadline July 30.2020. Is this the same deadline or different? Could you please explain an who possibly contact if able to file in Ohio. Thank you for your time. !!

A: An Ohio attorney could advise best but your question remains open for two weeks. Since you've already reached out to attorneys, you probably covered most of the available resources. If you haven't already used it, there is the Find-a-Lawyer tab above. The Ohio State Bar Association also has resources for the public (Public Resources tab). Good luck
