Q: I am 17 and I was issued a ticket for being on an electronic device while driving
I was reading online that you can pay a fine, and then take an online traffic course which will then take this off my driving record. Is this true ? This is the first ever ticket I have ever received.
A: You could send it in a request Court Supervision and if granted, you will be required to complete Traffic Safety School. This will be on your record but it will show up on the Supervision page of your record. If Court Supervision is not granted, you will receive a conviction and your parent's insurance premiums will likely be increased. If you are still confused, your parents can hire an attorney to assist you with this matter.
