I’m not sure what your question is. Nevertheless, if your husband is accused of aggravated assault, that is a very serious felony charge. He should hire a criminal defense lawyer as soon as possible.

The best pathway is for your husband to retain a lawyer, then that lawyer can explore the defenses which include how to handle putative victims that made an outcry while under the influence. I will warn you in advance that the State likes to get very aggressive when it comes to leaning on victims to participate in a prosecution, and can get downright threatening at times if versions of events start to change. You MAY need your own lawyer at some point, but right now your husband will benefit the most.
