Q: I got a ticket for speeding (80 m/h in a 65 m/h zone at night, no workers) in TX, but my driver license is issued in IL
I called the judge and she told me I need to pay $184. Will this affect my points or insurance in Illinois?
A: I have already previously answered this questions, so please refer to that answer. Bottom line, you need to hire an attorney licensed in Texas to assist you and you must tell that attorney that you are licensed in Illinois and need the ticket amended.
