A: There is no such person as an "illegal." A jail is not responsible for the actions of an undocumented person who may commit crimes after their release. Same for a citizen.

A: I’m sorry to hear about your mother and offer my condolences. You could consult with an attorney who can review the facts of your case in detail to determine if you have any options to pursue.

A: Generally, the county may under certain circumstances have to release people, people who then commit crimes. If this was that case then there isn't a claim. But there may be circumstances that warrant a claim, so contact a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Assn who handles government related death cases. They give free consults.
