Q: I changed my address on my id last month but did not move and didn’t re register as a felon, what do I do now?
I changed my address to my moms so I can make sure I get my important mail but did not change my address and a narcotics detective called me about it today
A: You should get an attorneys advice who handles criminal cases but as long as you live where you told the probation department you live, you should be fine. Your ID has many purposes. As long as each address is valid for the purpose, and you can show a rent receipt or something for where you live you should be OK
