A: The application itself will cost $250-$350 for each "class" of goods and services that you file in. For example, if you offer candles for sale, and candle making classes under the trademark "Wickzy", you would likely want to file in both classes in the same application. Many attorneys, our firm included, do a flat fee for the legal assistance in searching to make sure the mark is available, and preparing the application with the trademark office. Your specific situation could result in additional filing fees (for example, you aren't using the trademark yet, but you plan to in the future) but the flat fee for the legal costs should factor that in and not go up.
