A: If you have been sued and/or you have been sent correspondence/communication from the other driver or any other claimant, then immediately turn it over to your insurance company for handling. As part of your insurance contract, the insurance company will provide a lawyer to represent you if you are sued. Before that, the insurance company will handle the claim against you once the insurance company is notified.
