Q: Is it illegal to see or talk on the phone with my brother that got adopted in a closed adoption
I am now looking into filing for visitation to see my little brother that was adopted. It was a closed adoption. I found him on social media and we were texting and calling we also saw eachother at the park. Was what I did illegal? Will that affect my right for visitation?
A: Not in the slightest. You can wait until he turns 18 or you can contact his adoptive mother or you can hire an adoption attorney to file for visitation.
