Q: SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO??
Disabled, w/out an Advocate or ATTY; Fearful of making wrong decision
45 yro, No Evictions, Owned Homes, Gainfully Employed, until:
Displaced by COVID after 4 yrs of caring for a parent, all savings expended.
Moved to Richmond; No SSDI, Unemp, absolutely zero aid or stimulus.
RESIDING @Marriott, unemployed too long, mother supported us on SS, and
CREDIT took nose-dive!
Conflict arose w Management after reporting EE theft, Denial of Services/ADA Accmdtns,
BUT HIT THE FAN when I asked we apply to COVID RENT RELIEF:
LL filed improper "Unlawful" Detainer, Defective Notice & Procedure, No reason given; WHY: none could be: loyal member for 30+yrs w/out 1 complaint, Rent was still timely!
Struggled but managed to get EVICTION DISMISSED;
SETTLE ?
$$ Would NOT cover 90 days at hotel (so “Tenancy rights” lost forever),
May cover Rent 2 months, BUT, unemployed, w Summons now on my record (even if dismissed), tanked credit, doubt apprvl ; Cant afford multiple apps
