Q: Can my 17 year old nephew sign a a t of donation form to donate his portion of the house to me or does he have to be 18

My parents passed away and left the house to the children but my deceased brothers children wants to sign their portion of the house to me

A: Since this action would require an authentic act which needs to be recorded in the public record, I highly recommend that you utilize a succession/probate lawyer to act on your behalf and/or your brother's children's behalf. You do not want to have some paperwork signed thinking it is done and then find out years later it was incorrect. Use a lawyer.
