A: There is not much to tell you other than you need to figure out a way to satisfy the terms of your probation while caring for your mother. People do so in the midst of all sorts of challenges. If your probation officer is putting a warrant out for you, it doesn't sound like you are having much, or at least consistent, contact with her; you should be. It is incumbent on you to make them aware of your situation; it's not their job to find out. A judge is unlikely to be swayed by caring for an elderly parent when you were at least at some point committing a crime, and not reporting to probation.
