Q: My dad says I’m not allowed to move out until 19 and he says if I try to move out before he’ll take my car away from me

The car is under his name but I drive it and it was given to me by a family friend can I move and at 18 and can he take my car away from me?

A: You can leave on your 18th birthday but the car is his unless you have a donation or he has signed the back of the title to you. Don't forget you will need insurance too; it's the law.
