Q: Do I need to fill out a Child Support Addendum if I am filling for Legitimization and I live together with the mother.
My finance was legally still married when out daughter was born. She is now divorced and I am filling for Legitimization. Since we live together and intend on getting married. Do I need to fill out a child support Addendum?
Also do I need to also fill a parenting plan since we are not divorcing? The child will be with both of us in the same home.
A: If you are dealing with child support, then you do need a child support addendum. However, if you get married, the marriage itself legitimate the child, so you don't need to legitimate IF you marry the mother of your child.
